Special Contingency Risks (SCR) is a specialist insurance broker that focuses exclusively on Kidnap & Ransom and War & Terrorism risks. We have been assisting clients with personnel in high-risk environments since 1976, and with a market share of around 40% we are global leaders in our field. SCR personnel are based in London, Copenhagen, Madrid, Miami and New York and operate a 24-hour Emergency Line to ensure availability to clients at all times.

We uniquely provide both in-house preventative risk management and financial protection solutions to corporations and high net worth individuals. Our Security Consultants have extensive international work experience and have provided security advice and management to a range of multi-national clients in most areas of the world. Our aim is to give each of our clients an unrivalled service before, during and after an incident.

Insured through SCR, clients are provided with a preventative consultancy package to reduce the chance of personnel becoming the target of a kidnap-for-ransom or an attack, and to better prepare employees to survive should they become a victim.
