Prevention Services

Unique to SCR is its Security Consultancy Division, an in-house team that provides security advice and training to all clients. Every client receives some or all of SCR’s services at no extra cost, as part of the insurance package. All consultants are full-time employees of SCR and include ex-SAS servicemen with distinguished service in crisis situations. They are practised and professionally qualified in a wide range of security disciplines as well as being experienced trainers and multi-lingual.

Our clients’ priority is to ensure that they cover all personnel for adequate benefits and limits of indemnity. We help to ensure that pre-incident risk and crisis management has been implemented at the appropriate levels, making sure that all personnel are aware of the risks and how to reduce such risks.

Both War & Terrorism Personal Accident (W&T PA) and Kidnap & Ransom (K&R) prevention programmes consist of preventative risk mitigation strategies and crisis response. The difference in focus is essential in ensuring that the risks are addressed effectively, however, a degree of subject overlap remains important. Each programme is supported by leading syndicates at Lloyd's of London. The differences in focus are identified below:
